This auction is for a vintage 1985 Ibanez RB885 Roadstar II 5-string electric bass with a hard-shell case.  I bought this bass on consignment at a music store in Billings, Montana back in 1987.  This bass became my favorite instrument to play.  I was a bit worried about the narrow neck and the strings being so close together but it turned out to be very comfortable and easy to play! Here are some of its features:

• It has active electronics powered by a 9v battery


• The four knobs are volume, balance, bass boost/cut and treble boost/cut


• Pearl white finish with black hardware


• Ebony fretboard with 24 frets


• All original Ibanez stock hardware

I decided to start this auction off pricing the bass low to stimulate bidding.  The case for this bass is an Ibanez case and has had some wear and tear.  I have taken very good care of this bass so it is in pretty good shape.  Buyer pays $40 shipping in the USA.  Shipment will be insured and shipped via UPS.
